UAE ambassador meets Russian Deputy Prime Minister

UAE ambassador to Russia Omer Saif Ghobash met on Friday the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin.

At the meeting held at the Russian Government Building in Moscow, they discussed bilateral relations between UAE and Russia in various avenues, especially in investment.

The Russian side proposed that the meeting of the Emirati-Russian Joint committee can be held next September.

The meeting was also attended by Russian energy minister Sergey Ivanovich Shmatco, Russian President’s special envoy to the Middle East Alexander Saltanov and a number of officials representing government corporations and private companies.
